Welcome to The Reset Room

The Reset Room has been created as a safe, respectful and supportive space where people can connect, reflect, learn and access practical tools to help them navigate life, work and change.

To protect that environment, everyone who joins The ResetRoom agrees to the following guidelines.

Respect the Room

We want people to feel comfortable participating, asking questions and sharing experiences.

Please communicate with kindness and respect. Different perspectives and experiences are welcome; personal attacks, discrimination, harassment, bullying, threatening behaviour or deliberately harmful communication are not.

Paradigm Shift reserves the right to moderate or remove content, and where necessary suspend or remove a member from the community, if their behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.

What is shared in the Room, stays in the Room

Members may choose to share personal experiences or information during conversations, workshops, online discussions or events.

Please respect the privacy of others.

Do not copy, screenshot, record, share or distribute another member’s comments, stories, images or personal information outside The Reset Room without their express permission.

While Paradigm Shift will take reasonable steps to create and maintain a private environment, we cannot guarantee the actions of individual members. Please be thoughtful about the information you choose to share online.

Look after yourself

You are always in control of how much you participate and disclose.

You do not need to answer a question, participate in an exercise or share personal information if you do not feel comfortable doing so.

If a conversation or topic does not feel right for you, please step away, take a break or seek appropriate support.

The Reset Room
is not therapy

The Reset Room is an educational and personal-development community.

The information, discussions, workshops, resources and tools provided within the community are intended for general education, reflection and personal development.

They are not psychological, psychiatric, medical or other clinical advice, and participation in The Reset Room is not a substitute for professional assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counselling or therapy.

If you are experiencing significant emotional or psychological distress, or have concerns about your physical or mental health, please seek assistance from an appropriately qualified health professional.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Advice and personal experiences

From time to time, members may share ideas, experiences or suggestions with one another. These represent the views and experiences of individual members and should not be treated as professional advice.

Please make decisions that are appropriate for your own circumstances and seek professional advice where needed.

Privacy and your information

Paradigm Shift respects your privacy.

We may collect personal information when you join The ResetRoom, register for an event, communicate with us or participate in our programmes.

We use this information to administer your membership, communicate with you, provide programmes and resources, manage events and improve the experience we provide.

We will handle personal information in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy law.

We will not sell your personal information.

Where we use third-party platforms to operate The ResetRoom, those platforms may also collect and process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you or request that it be corrected.

Keeping the community safe

If something happens within The Reset Room that makes you uncomfortable, concerns you, or you believe breaches these guidelines, please contact us directly.

We would much rather know about something early so that we can respond appropriately.

One final thing

The Reset Room works when we all take some responsibility for the space we create.

Be curious. Be kind. Respect people's privacy. Take what is useful. Leave what isn't. And remember that everyone in the Room is working on something that is relevant to them.

By joining and participating in The Reset Room, you acknowledge and agree to these Community Guidelines, Privacy & Wellbeing Statement.
